Tell the world! We made all 5th grade reading level versions of our entire curriculum free and they're ready to be used in your classrooms.
All you have to do to assign an article is click on the checkbox. Once assigned, the article will appear on each of your students' dashboards.
Once an article is assigned, you can set advanced options to control how your students will see the assignment on their dashboard.
What options are available?
Optional due dates for assignments.
Curriculum vs interest articles. This setting determines whether an assignment is required (curriculum) or optional (interest). Interest articles are meant to be read for fun at a student's own leisure.
You can turn on free responses questions that will show up after the multiple choice questions, at the end of a quiz.
If you have more than one class, you can check or uncheck specific classes to turn the assignment on/of for just that class.
If you feel the need to print, just click on the icon above. You can download the article at every reading level along with a key that tells you which students should get which version.
You can check out the differences between reading levels for each article and quiz. Students, however, will only see the article at their own reading level.
